Cinnamon French Toast Bake

You’ll need 5 ingredients:

  • Cinnamon raisin bread
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz. cinnamon raisin bread
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (I used whole milk)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF and grease a 9-inch by 12-inch casserole dish.
  2. Slice the cinnamon raisin bread into bite sized pieces. Then, place the squares on the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk 8 large eggs. Then, add the milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk until combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture on top of the bread and use your hands to make sure all the bread is full submerged.
  5. Cover with tin foil and bake at 350ºF for 30 minutes. Then, remove tin foil and continue baking at 350ºF for 10-15 minutes or until fully cooked. 
  6. Top with powdered sugar and maple syrup!
